Have you ever been in a situation that feels chaotic and even perhaps hopeless?
I’m positive that everyone can answer yes to the question above. Why? Because we each face challenges in life that we simply can’t figure out the answer (in that moment). The key is to remember that just like everything else in life, challenges pass. Hopelessness will pass. Chaos doesn’t have to overcome your life. Even in the midst you, have the power to overcome and thrive.
Distractions lead to answers
You know the old adage “the best ideas happen in the shower!” Their’s truth behind it! When we overwhelm ourselves stressing over a situation, our brain shuts down. How can you expect to solve a challenging life issue if your brain is on overload? During times of chaos, it’s even more important to make sure you’re setting aside time to meditate and relax. Practicing self-care is always important, but more so during times of challenges. Are you saying to yourself right now, “the last thing I have time for right now is relaxing!” I assure you if you don’t jump off that hamster wheel (and make time) then the chaos will continue to grow.
Practice gratitude every day
Gratitude, it might be one of the hardest things to do when you’re going through life challenges. Expressing gratitude allows you to take the small steps needed to shift your perspective. Remember, small steps eventually lead to big changes. Periods of hopelessness will pass. With consistency and practice, you can learn to thrive during periods of chaos in your life. What’s something your grateful for?
